I get that a lot from people I talk to.  That is why having more 
"generalist" documentation that's like a mid-level map, and making it very 
easy to find on the website is critical.  However, it takes people to write 
such documentation. 

It doesn't help that http://doc.sagemath.org/ (the main link people click 
with "documentation" on the website) is now almost totally useless, 
compared to http://www.sagemath.org/help.html .
