A nice first step could be some help to review 19061 [1]. With this,
all it takes to add a function to a (sorted) thematic index in the
module's doc is a "@doc_index('name of the index')" decorator before
the function's name. Makes it much easier to have a better-quality
documentation.

I mentionned it to Harald, as I think that what we had before:
    http://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/website/index.html

is a *much* better index than what we have now:
    http://doc.sagemath.org/

I will not exhaust myself if nobody else cares, but if some agree with
me we may get to convince him.
