Hi All,

Congrats for Sage and this mailing list. I'm using Sage + TeXmacs +
Connexions projects with my students to teach linear algebra and
differential calculus. I have made a Virtual version of Linux which runs
on Windows using Virtual Box and Puppy Linux, instead of VMware and
Debian as yours). It has other differences like having graphical mode
enabled by default and TeXmacs. You can get information in spanish about
this distro in (we're starting now, so there is no much yet and soon I
will post links to where download the information):

I would really like to be part of this community but after confirming
my desire of that by email I'm conducted to a page which says:

      *Congratulations [EMAIL PROTECTED]

You are now a member of *sage-edu*. Now you can...

    Join <http://groups.google.com/group/sage-edu/subscribe?hl=en> or
    Sign-in

<https://www.google.com/groups/signin?cd=US&hl=en&ssip=g3&_done=http%3A%2F%2Fgroups.google.com>

and both options force me to have a google account. I know that google
is making important contributions to the project, but there is any way
to be part of this community without being forced to open a google
account? I just remember the old days when people can join to
communities, just with their emails, no matter where their mails were
from and now with yourFavoriteEnterpriseGroups this seems not the case
any more.

Any options?

Cheers and keep the good work,

Offray
