Ever since David Joyner updated Granville's Calculus book and added Sage examples, I've been on the lookout for a good multivariable calc book to extend the series. A very nice one is available at:
http://www.mecmath.net/ The complete LaTeX source is available, although I couldn't get it to compile after about 1/2 hour of trying. I would be interested if someone else can get that done. The author (Michael Corral) uses Java for his computational examples. It would not be that hard to convert these to Sage, and then I think I could make a push to use it in my courses. At the moment I don't have time to really pursue this, but I will continue to think about what exactly I'd like to do with it. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sage-edu" group.
