Thought I posted this earlier but can't find it: I should mention, for sake of completeness though everyone interested probably is on Linux, that on a Mac with Parallels installed, one simply opens Parallels, and adds a new virtual machine to Parallels (it turns out it recognizes .iso format), making sure to tell it that it's with Ubuntu. Then it simply runs, as long as you have the keys correct e.g. right-clicking.
