Hello all, I just wanted to introduce myself and inquire about a few things regarding the Google Summer of Code project proposals for Sage. My name is Laurel Vasquez and I am an undergraduate pure mathematics major at UC Berkeley, Berkeley, CA. I have spoken with Professor Hutz about a project in Complex and Arithmetic Dynamics, and I have finished building sage developer version. Currently I am working on commenting on a ticket submitted to the trac server.
I had a few questions about the project proposal: About how long is it expected to be? Besides reviewing the recommendations on the Sage Wiki <https://wiki.sagemath.org/GSoC/2016>, are there any other tips to follow for writing a successful proposal?
