Alex, You may want to confirm, but it seems pretty clear from the faq, that twice is the limit for gsoc participation:
What are the eligibility requirements for participation? - You must be at least 18 years of age - You must currently be a full or part-time student (or have been accepted for the fall term) at an accredited <https://developers.google.com/open-source/gsoc/faq#accredited> university as of the student acceptance date - You must be eligible to work in the country you will reside in during the program - You have not already been accepted as a Student in GSoC more than once - You must reside in a country that is not currently embargoed by the United States. See Program Rules <https://developers.google.com/open-source/gsoc/rules> for more information. from: https://developers.google.com/open-source/gsoc/faq#what_are_the_eligibility_requirements_for_participation Ben On Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 5:03:41 AM UTC-5, Alex Leontiev wrote: > > Dear all! > > I'm sorry for asking about the project so late, I was a bit busy recently. > Anyway, here I am. > > My name is Alex Leontiev, I'm the first year PhD student in The University > of Tokyo, specializing in representation theory (me being specializing, > that is, not the Tokyo U). > Please, see the list of my (so far, not reviewed) publications: > > https://sites.google.com/site/alexleontievtodai/Home/cv/publications-not-reviewed > and talks: > https://sites.google.com/site/alexleontievtodai/Home/cv/public-speeches > > Despite being a math student now, I've finished the Bachelor Degree in > Computer Science and have continued develop software as my hobby since then. > In particular, I've successfully participated in GSoC 2014 and 2016 with > OpenCV library. > Here's the sample of my codes on github: https://github.com/nailbiter > > Naturally, I became very interested in the "Improve Representation Theory" > project.
