I have two problems with the Jupyter notebook in Sage 8.0.beta7 on OS X.
First, starting up: if I give the command "sage -n" (or "sage -n jupyter"),
I see
Copy/paste this URL into your browser when you connect for the first
time,
to login with a token:
http://localhost:8888/?token=....
0:99: execution error: "http://localhost:8888/sagenb?token=...." doesn’t
understand the “open location” message. (-1708)
Then I have to open the URL manually, which is okay but not the way it
should work.
Second, attaching a file: if I start a new Sage notebook and execute
%attach path/to/file
I get
UsageError: Invalid GUI request 'sage', valid ones are:['osx', 'qt4', 'qt5',
'qt', 'nbagg', 'gtk', 'gtk3', 'notebook', 'tk', 'ipympl', 'inline', None, 'wx']
Anyone seen this before? I get it on two different machines, both OS X
10.12.
