That's fair enough, but you could have mentioned this as a part of your workflow earlier. On the other hand, it's not unusual (at least with tickets related to the build system) that you present us with a hard puzzle to crack - and sometimes it's you assuming that you can just update a build, rather than build from scratch. Perhaps such tickets deserve a special flag/keyword/tag.
