Yes, I am he.

Sorry, I didn't write carefully enough. I meant to say jsMath has the
ability (not sage), and that it could be added to sage by someone who
knows how to do that. I have not looked at any of the sage code, so I
don't know how easy that would be, but it seems to me that whatever
inserts the call to include jsMath.js should be able to include the
noGlobal.js file as well. I don't know if sage uses the jsMath/easy/
load.js, but that might make it easier for your users to configure
jsMath to their liking, as it provides control over things like global
mode, image fonts, and so on.

There are a variety of approaches to making changes in the font
warnings. You can view several in
http://www.math.union.edu/locate/jsMath/authors/warnings.html
I would be happy to assist someone familiar with the sage codebase to
implement one of these.

Thanks for the support. I think it has a lot of promise, but it is
nowhere near a finished product at the moment. It was the result of
about a week's worth of coding for a conference at the end of 2006
(where you probably saw it). There is still a lot to do before it is
usable, and right now it is only a proof-of-concept. I'm afraid that
it will be too slow in the long run, as the connection between the
editor and jsMath is not tight enough (jsMath re-renders the complete
equation for every action that you take, and that is very slow). On
the other hand, I have a thesis student working on some of the
interface issues this term, and perhaps something will come of that.

Thank you. I know that it is something that is important and would be
valuable to have, and I do plan to continue work on it as soon as I
can. But time is very limited, and I'm not sure when that will be.
When I have something more finished, I will certainly make that
public.
