Dear all, Suppose I have polynomials over rational(Q) field although coefficients are integer. I want to transform these polynomials over some finite field say GF(7). I write the following program which does not work. R.<x,y>=QQ[] f1=2*x-3*y-1 f2=x^2+y^2-5 R.<x1,y1>=ZZ[] f3=f1(x1,y1) f4=f2(x1,y1) R.<z,w>=GF(7)[] f=f3(z,w) g=f4(z,w)
