Hi,
I'm trying to run R in the Sage notebook, version 4.3,
under Mac OS X 10.6.2, on a Macbook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo.
When I try to start the R help, by typing "help.start()" I get
the following message:
----------------------
Making links in per-session dir ... sh:
/Users/was/build/sage-4.3/local/lib/R/share/sh/help-links.sh: No such
file or directory
If '/usr/bin/open' is already running, it is *not* restarted, and you
must switch to its
window.
Otherwise, be patient ...
Warning messages:
1: In file.create(f.tg) :

ml/packages.html', reason 'No such file or directory'
2: In make.packages.html() : cannot create HTML package index

Although I don't know much about the inner workings of Sage, isn't the
second
line

a bit strange... I'm guessing "was" refers to William A. Stein?
