My understanding is that this is currently impossible. But I recall that there is a $100 bounty on implementing this, so you can make some money -- and make a great contribution to Sage -- by coding it yourself. :) One workaround is to use a GeoGebra applet, which does do 2-dimensional interaction. I think there is proof-of-concept code somewhere that shows how to pass information back and forth between Sage and the GeoGebra applet, but I don't think much has been done with that.
