Kubuntu Lucid Lynx Beta 1 'Sage Version 4.3.3, Release Date: 2010-02-21' compiled
When you refresh in Firefox or Chrome with a slider, it will cause the page to refresh. After the page refreshes, it goes back to the top of the document instead of where you were working at... This can get pretty annoying... Scroll, scroll, scroll, sigh.... Does anyone know how to make the refreshing page go back to where you were automatically? Of course, the best solution would be if the page didn't act like it had been reloaded at all. My second question is does anybody know a way to make Sage do some 2d interaction, like detecting mouse clicks in a 2d coordinate system? I have this little angle quiz in Mathematica that I want to reimplement in Sage. Basically, what it does is tell you a property or set of properties of an angle, then you click where the endpoint of the variable leg of the angle should be. I haven't been able to figure out how to do this in Sage by reading the interact examples. I need to be able to click on a point and get the coordinates from that point into a object from an interactive display in a Sage notebook. Thank you for any help in advance, and I hope I get the chance to help someone else out once I get proficient in Sage myself! By the way, isn't Sage such an awesome idea? Instead of Mathematica where you have a system built up from the ground to handle everything, Sage glues all the great systems from different fields together to make a custom tool which includes the readability of python. I was really really happy when I found Sage. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-support URL: http://www.sagemath.org To unsubscribe from this group, send email to sage-support+unsubscribegooglegroups.com or reply to this email with the words "REMOVE ME" as the subject.
