I should clarify that there was nothing to be disabled, but in principle one should be able to make one. See for instance http://hg.sagemath.org/sage-main/file/5714ed3eab6a/sage/functions/log.py#l114 though here I'm not precisely sure where (if) we could add it, since they are not Ginac symbolic objects - http://hg.sagemath.org/sage-main/file/5714ed3eab6a/sage/symbolic/integration/integral.py#l63 seems as plausible a place as any.
