Having failed to install abelfunctions.spkg using the ubuntu ppa version of sage (see previous post on the topic), I started again from scratch. I downloaded the linux binary and ran sage which then performed patching for about an hour. Then I did
sage -p abelfunctions.spkg /usr/lib/sagemath/local/bin/sage: line 836: sage-logger: command not found What should I be doing instead?
