Are you going to pay his bills? Me? US government? French government? His 
skateboarding?
Dude, you're sitting in your CNRS ivory tower, not too well-paid, but still 
far removed from the reality...
Yes, Sagemath developers have to eat, live somewhere, etc., there is no 
magic that would automatically place a sufficient figure in there bank 
accounts, unless they are fixed for life like you are.
