 Reporter: wjp | Owner: mabshoff
     Type: defect | Status: new
 Priority: blocker | Milestone: sage-3.3
Component: doctest | Resolution:

Comment (by wjp):

I did a binary search through the hg commits between alpha6 and rc0. This
segfault first shows up after the commit titled "Second pass at sage_input
-- support more types" (rev11589 in the rc0 hg repo).

Specifically, it is triggered after starting at rev11588 and moving only
 sage/misc/sage_input.py and any of sage/rings/infinity.py,
 sage/rings/rational.pyx, sage/rings/rational_field.py,
 sage/rings/real_double.pyx, sage/rings/real_mpfr.pyx to rev11589.

This seems to be 100% reproducable on my system, but I don't see the logic
behind it, or how sage_input would effect this crash.
