Hi Simon,
I'll be working on this ticket today or so. We are currently exploring
with Florent the theoretical limits of C3, and ways to fix the MRO issues
once for all for categories. For that, we need a clean C3 implementation
for further instrumentation. More on that topic on sage-combinat-devel
shortly!
