trac_5409-part12-reviewer.patch makes the doctest pass again. It is only a
diff since I did not want to commit anything to that tree. Most of the
changes are trivial. Mike Hansen also pointed out some of the fixes :)
I am somehow under the impression John's patch was not the final one or
somehow incomplete.
