Hi Florent,
I have no idea. I tried on my machine (OS X). I browsed through 10-20
pages of the reference manual and saw no problems. Does this depend on
this ticket? If you don't apply the patches and run

sage -docbuild reference html -j
}}}
do you see the same problem?

I don't even see a "png" directory. I see "eot", "otf", and "svg"
directories.
