Comment:

 Just got past `complex_double.o` in compiling with this patch (it had been
 blocked at the algebras/letterplace stuff, so cleanly), so presumably the
 lack of the library isn't a problem.  I'll assume this is indeed necessary
 on Win 7, though if Dima could independently verify this it would be
 nice...
