Comment (by vbraun):
Curiously, the log file for readline is identical (apart from the timing
stats). But it fails to link to tinfo in the broken version
{{{
[vbraun@volker-desktop sage-5.9.beta2]$ ldd local/lib/libreadline.so
linux-vdso.so.1 => (0x00007fff365fe000)
libc.so.6 => /lib64/libc.so.6 (0x00007f2866ee3000)
/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x0000003c14800000)
}}}
vs the fixed version:
{{{
[vbraun@volker-desktop sage-5.9.beta2]$ ldd local/lib/libreadline.so
linux-vdso.so.1 => (0x00007fffef3fe000)
libtinfo.so.5 => /lib64/libtinfo.so.5 (0x00007ffb0c10a000)
libc.so.6 => /lib64/libc.so.6 (0x00007ffb0bd51000)
/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x0000003c14800000)
[vbraun@volker-desktop sage-5.9.beta2]$ cat /usr/lib64/libncurses.so
INPUT(libncurses.so.5 -ltinfo)
}}}
