Why don't you think it was just caused by the fact that "cut" used to be
of "int" type in the structure's definition, and seemed to be counted as
"sizeof(long)" int `glp_cpp` ?
Besides, if this line (the call to `glp_cpp`) has to be changed, wouldn't
others need to be changed too ?
