Generated Polynomial Rings

Type: enhancement | Status: new
Priority: major | Milestone: sage-3.4.2
Component: commutative algebra | Keywords: Symmetric Ideal

Comment(by mabshoff):
One last thing: You used _P in your code and {{{_[A-Z}}} are reserved
numerical constants on some BSDs as well as Solaris. The way your code is
written does not trigger any compilation failures (I tested on Solaris
10), but I would generally discourage the use. One prominent example where
this caused endless problems was the PolyBoRi interface where Burcin and I
rewrote large parts of the variable names because of it.
Cheers,
Michael
