So your proposal is to copy&paste the (im)mutability check from
`GenericGraph_pyx` into each mutable backend, and then write immutable
backends that eventually will reach feature parity with the mutable
backends. And all that so that you don't have to check the mutability flag
for the backends that are already immutable? Which is one clock cycle, and
possibly for free?
