 I leave that to your interpretation.

 Note that GNU `cpp` / `gcc` / `g++` do not accept `-MF <outputfile>`
 alone; you have to also give `-M` or `-MM` in addition.

 (And you'd probably also have to support `-FM ...`, and ignore `-F`.)
