apply trac_7477_setup_doc_load.patch, trac_7477_code.patch
I just uploaded a revision. I revisited all documentation strings, adding
mathematical explanations, cross references, and revisiting the OUTPUT
blocks with the above suggestions in mind. The documentation builds
without warnings or errors, I believe.
