Review: applies fine to 3.4.2.rc0 and tests pass.
My reviewer's patch just does the following:
1. Corrects spelling of "separable" throughout
1. simplifies algorithm strings to "velu" and "kohel"
1. Corrects some ReST glitches, and added to reference manual
1. removed semicolons from ens of lines (redundant in python!)
I think this should go in -- then we can develop it and add other
functionality later. So I have given it a positive review.
