I had missed the #15422 dependency. Fixed.
As for the `if/else`, I've seen (sometimes long) `else` blocks that
constitute the normal cases and I try to be uniform about it. Plus with
the extra indents, I sometimes have difficulties knowing what the correct
indent level should be (although not in this case). I do agree that the
cases should be swapped -- I had only removed the `else:`. I added back in
the `else` blocks for the `if n % 2 == 0`.
