 Doing `M=matrix(GF(5),6,6,range(36))` does ''not'' trigger the creation of
 the category of vector spaces over `GF(5)`. I wonder why this is the case:
 After all, `M` knows its parent, and as I have just checked the category
 of vector spaces should ''always'' be used when creating a matrix space.

 So, does the `matrix` function do anything funny when creating a matrix?
 Such as: Not creating the matrix space which the matrix belongs to?
