Made some edits (more are to follow). I'm unhappy with how I handled the
"code smell" paragraph (but then again, I don't understand it very well
myself), and am unsure if the "extra data" paragraph is now correct
(please check!). Also, the `BrokenTestObjects` class seems to have neither
docs nor doctests, so I'm wondering why it's there (if it is to illustrate
something, please illustrate it rather than removing it!).
