 Is there a good reason to not use the default values that pari is using?
 What is troubling is that an example that runs fast in pari does take
 forever in Sage. So I would put the defaults to None, and then pass
 different defaults when the curve is over QQ or over a number field
 (according to DS's scripts).

 One exception to this: the parameter `limbigprime` should be set to 0, to
 avoid the use of probabilistic (and thus not provably true) prime testing.
