@Christian: That looks rather random...
Is the purpose here to make the method in Sage more useful or to make
Findstat understand it as a combinatorial map? For the former purpose, I'd
say either an exception or None is good, and I'm in favor of None because
people think exceptions in Python aren't fast enough to be used on a
regular basis ( http://paltman.com/2008/01/18/try-except-performance-in-
python-a-simple-test/ ). For the latter purpose, I don't know what to do
-- if FindStat is really tailored to complete maps (as it seems to me
right now), then IMHO any kind of tweaks that forcibly make partial maps
complete would only obscure the kind of patterns and identities that
FindStat is attempting to find.
