I'm not sure which John is which,a nd I cannot remember exactly what I
said before. However: please let us not raise errors in quo_rem unless
there is something really invalid in the input such as quotient by 0! If
there is nothing else available having q=0 and r = dividend is surely
better. And as Peter says, we swrite the documentation afterwards.
