Here's another example, which seems to put this in the "mathematically
wrong answer" category:

sage: sum(gcd(x, 4), x, 1, 4)
4
}}}
I would expect the answer to be 8 instead of 4:

sage: [gcd(x, 4) for x in range(1, 5)]
[1, 2, 1, 4]
sage: sum(gcd(x, 4) for x in range(1, 5))
8
}}}
