I will see Bill next week (we will be at the same conference). I see that
this is a prerelease (= release candidate?) for the next 2 weeks.
I suggest that we do not delay merging this ticket, but at the same time
make a new one for 2.7.2 which should be ready in time for the release
date. Is that a good plan?
