New description:

The build of the GUI (`xcas`) has been disabled in the `spkg-install` to
 minimize the dependencies.

spkg-src modified tarball to download for sage:
built with spkg-src from the original giac 1.1.2-10 source:
 grenoble.fr/~parisse/debian/dists/stable/main/source/giac_1.1.2-10.tar.gz]

 original cython frontend tarball:

 prg.fr/~frederic.han/xcas/giacpy/sage/giacpy-0.4.5.tar.gz]

Comment (by frederichan):

Now working with a spkg-src to make the top dir name easier to handle by
the installer and to remove the huge french html doc which was not
released under GPL terms. ( Freely resdistribuable for non commercial
 purposes)

Cf the ticket description link to download giac-1.1.2.10.tar.gz.
