There are several symbols missing but the ones that cause singular to fail
are the following

NTL::Vec<NTL::ZZ>::DoSetLength(long)
NTL::Vec<NTL::zz_pEX>::DoSetLength(long)
NTL::Vec<NTL::zz_pX>::DoSetLength(long)
}}}
c++ and me don't mix well so I wouldn't try to write a small test program
for these but it should be easy for someone who has a clue about c++.
Which also means that I have no idea on how it fails to build.
I should be able to test gcc 4.3 easily on ppc64 since sles11sp1 comes
with that as default.
