Ok, so I just built NTL 6.2.1 on a x86_64 Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS using the
available Linaro GCC (4.4, 4.6, 4.7, 4.8) and can confirm that:
* 4.7 and 4.8 yield a whole bunch of DoSetLength symbols in static and
shared libs,
* 4.4 and 4.6 don't.
I'm now trying other versions of NTL to see what happens.
