As far as I saw, Singular 3-1-7 is mainly bug fixes and in particular
inclusion of Sage patches...
And I wanted to see if it changed anything as far as the templates issue
was concerned.
It did not, but the update was done.
Feel free to split it apart, but on my side I've fought enough for this
ticket.
It should not be that hard.
Just keep the `templates.patch` here (note that you could also get a
similar efect playing with env vars.
