avocate to ship unmodified upstream tarballs so that any user can check
its integrity (hashsums).
But it sort of misses the point of trimming at all, since now we have to
ship the entire thing anyway in a source dist, and download the whole
thing for an upgrade. Maybe it helps binaries some.
