1. Plugging symbolic expressions into polynomials tend to give more
complicated expressions. So the conversion to symbolic should be done as
very last thing.
2. With my code, the result doesn't depend on the choice of generator or
number field: elements which are equal in `QQbar` yield equal symbolic
expressions.
