future (it might be feasible to implement that in Sage using PARI).
Just filed #17516 for this. There we can discuss preliminary work in that
direction, be sure things aren't forgotten, and even have a ticket number
to mention in documentation and comments when explaining that we consider
some code temporary until that got addressed.
