Some redundancy indeed. Let's see what's to be done:
1. Add the missing "u" to doctest (for unicode if I am not mistaken).
That's one of the easiest bit.
2. Get rid of calls to _base in sage/plot/*
3. Migrate from delaunay to tri.Triang
4. Fix sage/plot/graphics.py - easy.
5. Why no output in sage/plot/arrow.py?
