You're going to get annoyed by this question, but I do feel it's a UI
issue. Is `simplify_sum` the right name for this? I'm just wondering; it
isn't exactly a "simplification". Though `evaluate_sum` doesn't exactly
get me excited either. What do you think? Also, I'm not 100% sure it
should be in `simplify_full` - a very long one of these might feel more
complicated than "just the sum".
