The patching works fine. I added {{{grep "sh = shs_f;" -A 5 -B 5
graph.cc}}} right at the end of the 'for patch in' loop in spkg-install,
and I see:

Digraph::Digraph(const unsigned int nof_vertices)
{
vertices.resize(nof_vertices);
sh = shs_f;
}
}}}
I also don't understand why it would work on your computer and not on
mine.
