Hi,
the third point was the minor one,
- concerning the first point, it is better to have our custom changes in a
single well-defined place, you can have a look at :
http://www.sagemath.org/doc/developer/packaging.html#patching-sources
- concerning the second point, tar.gz files are also accepted and `spkg-
src` should be avoided as possible, you can have a look at :
http://www.sagemath.org/doc/developer/packaging.html#modified-tarballs
