 `elliptic_curves`. But I would avoid it without explanations in
 `polynomial_element.pyx` for example.

 Then add a paragraph or two to explain the syntax in well-chosen
 docstrings...

 Do you really see `Polynomial.valuation?` as something people who don't
 know how to define basic objects are likely to read?
