 For what it worth, i compiled 6.6 on 32 bits with `SAGE_FAT_BINARY='yes'`
 without problems, with the same configuration that caused problems on 6.5,
 so on my side there is no regression, see https://lipn.univ-
 paris13.fr/~monteil/hebergement/sage/binaries/6.6/ Also, the patch of
 #17806 is still present in the 6.6 source. But perhaps arando does not
 have the same config/hardware. According to wikipedia, the supported
 versions of Ubuntu are currently : 12.04_LTS, 14.04_LTS, 14.10 and indeed
 soon 15.04, but 13.04 seems end-of-life.
